ALDO ARZÁPALO
Aldo began his meditation practice 15 years ago and, since meeting Geshe Michael 12 years ago, has studied and applied Buddhist teachings that have completely transformed his life.
Aldo is a board member of the Asian Classics Institute (ACI) in Mexico, has studied the 18 Fundamental Buddhist Courses (ACI), including an intensive program at Sera Mey Monastery in South India. Motivated by his deep interest in spreading the teachings in Spanish, Aldo has been teaching the ACI courses in Guadalajara for more than seven years.
He is also a member of the board of directors of ACI in Spanish and of the Spanish Translation Project, which is dedicated to translating all found materials from Tibetan-English-Spanish.
PAULINA FRANCO
Paulina began her yoga and meditation practice 15 years ago and is a certified Dharma Yoga instructor under the guidance of Sri Dharma Mittra in New York City. For the past 12 years, she has studied Buddhist philosophy under the guidance of Geshe Michael Roach, including an intensive program at Sera Mey Monastery in India.
Currently, Paulina is the regional coordinator for the Asian Legacy Library (ALL) in Latin America, a global non-profit organization whose mission is to safeguard the world's cultural Asian literary wisdom as a priority for humanity.
Paulina is also a board member of the Asian Classics Institute (ACI) in Mexico and teaches the 18 Fundamental Courses of Buddhism. In addition, she has been invited to teach retreats in Thailand, Bali, the United States and other parts of Mexico.

GESHE MICHAEL ROACH
The Asian Classics Institute makes the fundamental, profound and transformative teachings of the Buddha available to the world in an accurate, accessible and relevant way.
Geshe Michael Roach, originally from Phoenix, Arizona, studied at Princeton and then at Rashi Gempil Ling with Khen Rinpoche Geshe Lobsang Tharchin. In 1995, he became the first American to receive the Geshe degree after completing his studies at Sera Monastery in India. He developed the seven-year ACI Foundations program, which reflects the content of the six Great Books of Buddhism to train Western Buddhist teachers.
The Asian Classics Institute offers online recordings, live and correspondence teachings for those wishing to study these subjects.
